The executive order signed by President Biden on June 25th mandates that agencies of the US federal government enact better, stronger, more comprehensive programs in support of Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Accessibility. Within that executive order, the president asserts that Employee Resource Groups (Affinity Groups) and mentoring are key components of the DEIA programs he envisions.
