Ensuring a logical structure to your ERGs/BRGs is critical to long term sustainability and scaleability. As a best practice try to align the local structure as close as possible to your organizations location data. This can be accomplished by first aligning to the internal regional alignment of your organization. For example, if you work for a global company with operations in APAC, EMEA, LATAM and North America then you should align your ERGs to that same structure. From there you can drill down to local chapters. For instance, within APAC you can have local chapters based on your organizations physical locations such as Tokyo, Singapore, Melbourne.

Go to your Affinities instance Create a survey in your ERG/BRG or other group Once the survey is created click Action and click Save as Template Now any other group can use that template and make edits to it

Go to your Admin Panel Go to Users Click Options next to the Download button Select ERG Leads from the member type field Select all the available groups Select the fields you want in the report Click Download

Custom Event Fields allow you to capture additional data and metrics on your events. Think about your additional data points your organization can leverage to bolster and improve your internal events. Some examples include capture pillar alignment of events (e.g. attract talent, retain talent, develop talent) or capturing vendor information pertaining to events. The feature is very flexible and can accommodate answer types such as radio buttons, check boxes, and text input fields.

Leveraging Primary and Secondary Colors are imperative for a good user experience. The reason for this is because Primary Colors are used throughout the platform in areas such as reporting and global calendar views. Therefore, you should ensure you are using colors that are easy on the eyes while providing sense of vibrancy to your platform. Try to align your primary colors with your ERG or other group logos. Note, secondary colors can be used to auto enhance newsletter templates so that various elements of Newsletter templates can default to a groups color scheme.
